Red and Yellow cotton wicks used in lightning lamps before god will be blessed. Red wicks are made by pressing with kumkum stones and prepared on yarn spinning. Yellow wicks are prepared by mixing turmeric plant leaves with cotton and then it is pressed and therefore prepare wicks on yarn spinning. For preparing yellow wicks the turmeric plant should not be plucked. These wicks are better in for every devotional activities.
