I bought this as a birthday present for my father, with great hesitation. Bal Mithai is his absolute favorite sweet. It is almost impossible to source even in India these days, and it's not always good even when it is fresh. Moreover, even if this turned out to be good and were somehow kept fresh and whole during delivery, it might have taken months. By nothing short of Miraculous Divine Grace, it arrived on-time, fresh, and delicious and was perfectly packaged, adding to the surprise and joy. I am beyond satisfied; I am indebted!!!

I was prepared to be disappointed. Although I loved aam papad and "chocolate" burfi as a child, I doubted not only that they would be good in combination but also that they would arrive fresh enough for it to matter.
