These crispy and flavorful fritters are a specialty of the Godavari region in Andhra Pradesh, India. Made with grated palm tree heart (vantillu), semolina, spices, and herbs, they are a perfect teatime snack or appetizer.

  • Grated palm tree heart (vantillu)
  • Semolina
  • Onion, green chilies, ginger
  • Spices like coriander powder, cumin powder, chili powder

Self life:

  • These fritters are best enjoyed fresh. However, they can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a pan or oven before serving.
