Direction to use
Organic Toor Dal can be used in regular lentil preparations. It is generally used to prepare puranpoli, sweet-sour dal, sambhar or dal fry. It is generally served with vegetable pulao, jeera rice and steamed rice. Toor dal can be also used as a stuffing for sandwiches, sweets and desserts.
Recipe
Soak the organic toor dal for approximately 20 minutes before cooking. Boil the toor dal in a pressure cooker. Fry chopped onion, green chilli, coriander, garlic, ginger and tomatoes. Mix turmeric powder and cumin in the same. Pour the boiled toor dal in it. Mix it and pour some water. Let the mix boil. Garnish the dal with kasturi methi for taste and to increase the flavour.
