Description

Hetha Ghee Mathri

Ghee Mathri is a popular Indian snack, known for its crispy texture and rich flavor. It is made using the finest ingredients, with ghee (clarified butter) playing a central role in enhancing its taste and making it delightfully crispy. A traditional tea-time snack, Ghee Mathri is often enjoyed during festivals, family gatherings, or as a savory treat.

Key Features

Rich, crispy, and golden texture
Made with ghee for a traditional taste
Perfect snack for tea-time or festive occasions
Easy to prepare with minimal ingredients

Key Ingredients

All-purpose flour (maida)
Semolina (sooji)
Ghee (clarified butter)
Cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Caraway seeds (ajwain)
Water for kneading

Tips

Ensure the ghee is at the right temperature when frying for the best crispiness.
Knead the dough well for a smoother texture.
Use a combination of caraway seeds and cumin for extra flavor.
For a crunchy texture, fry at medium heat, not high heat.

Shelf Life

Ghee Mathri can stay fresh for up to 2 weeks when stored in an airtight container. Keep it in a cool, dry place to maintain its crispness and flavor. For longer storage, it can also be refrigerated, though it may lose some of its crunch.
