Common Name: Subacetate of Mercury. Mercurous acetate 

Causes & Symptoms for Mercurius aceticus

• Severe lancinating  pains in the throat aggravated by coughing.
• Cold water bath aggravates the eruptions and warm water relieves.
• Difficulty in breathing while standing erect is a characteristic symptom of Mercurius aceticus.
• Ulcers that have margins and are painful.

Eyes

Itching and burning of eyes with inflamed eyelids.

Mouth and Throat

Dryness of mouth and throat that leads to difficulty.

Lancinating pains more when coughing.

Urinary complaints

Cutting pains in urethra at the verge of end of urination.

Burning pains while passing urine is relieved with Mercurius aceticus.

Male complaints

Pain in the testicles with burning pains on the penis, aggravated by cold water and better by warmth.

Female complaints

Redness of the labia with internal swelling is relieved with Mercurius aceticus.

Extremities

Tearing pains in the limb. Redness of the joints is relieved with Mercurius aceticus.

Side effects of Mercurius aceticus 

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given.

Dosage and rules while taking Mercurius aceticus 

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.
