Ariselu is also known as Adhirasam /Kajjaya/ Athirasa in some parts of South India. In Andhra and Telangana, these are called Ariselu. In Tamil Nadu, they call it Adhirasam; in Karnataka they call it Kajjaya. They taste amazing when deep fried in Ghee, called Nethi Ariselu (Ghee Ariselu).
